Finishing Grade 12, Off to University!

3/18/13 by Luke

Or so I think....
I almost have my grade twelve, just a month away!
But... I have some marks to upgrade, and another class I need to take in order to meet the requirements for University.

I've been debating for quite some time on what I want to do with my life, because I feel that now that I've grown up, a post-secondary education is super important. So, it was either being a Youth Care Worker (two years of post-secondary, not in university), Teacher, or Police Officer (too out of shape).

I've decided today to start taking the steps to become a High School Teacher, hopefully I will be focusing mostly in English or History as a teacher, and can educate in a field that I am most interested in.
I figure it's time I start taking life more seriously, now that I am living on my own, have a job and am in school, I want to be successful!

Looks like you found a cause, good luck! :) I'm still pondering how to most enjoyably spend the rest of a hopefully long and exiting existence myself...

It will come to you, man. You may already know, you just haven't realized it yet. It's what happened to me.

Quite a big one!

I want to be an Enlish teacher as well. It isn't fair though... Why did I have to be born in 96' and not 95'.... D:

Destiny.

Best thing you can do, if you're planning to go to college, is to take a big variety of intro classes and see which one seems the most interesting to you. There's too much pressure to decide these days, I think. Going to college is about figuring out what you want to do. You'll realize once you're there that you don't actually learn all that much in class.

Well I need sixty credits before applying to the college of education, that means I need to do twenty arts and sciences classes beforehand, so I have two years to think about it while taking those classes.

Teaching is something I would love to do though, it's just a matter of being able to get the average in the university classes, science is a weaker field for me, but lots of studying will pay off.

You should be a Newgrounds manager. Seems like it would fit you well :D

Does such a thing even exist? Lol.
